Lesson Information

Pony Pros

This program is designed as an introductory program for riders who need assistance while mounted.  Lessons run for 30 mins; 15 mins of grooming; caring for their horse and 15 mins of riding.

Package of 4 group lessons within the same month.         $255 +hst (1 weekly lesson)

                Less than 4 lessons a month                             $75 + hst Individual Lessons   
                                                           

       Navy Lesson Package - 1 lesson/week                                         

This lesson package is done in a group format only. This program is designed for any rider who does not need assistance while mounted. We group riders based on their age and ability. Riders will rotate through our various horses in our lesson program.  Lessons run for 40 minutes. 

4 group lessons within the same month                           $230 + hst  (1 weekly lesson)
              Less than 4 lessons a month                               $70 + hst Individual Lessons 

       Burgundy Lesson Package - 2 lessons/week

This lesson package is done in a group format only.  This program is designed for any rider who does not need assistance while mounted. We try to group riders based on age and ability.  Riders will rotate through our various horses in our lesson program.  Lessons run for 40 minutes.

8 group lessons within the same month                         $430 + hst (2 weekly lessons)​

In 2014, Haley decided to return to her roots and pass on her worldly experiences to other horse enthusiasts in her hometown of Pembroke, ON. Haley is sought after not only for her profound knowledge of horse training, but also for her friendly demeanor.

Haley is also looking for new opportunities to learn. She continues to offer and attend clinics, and is enrolled in the Equine Canada competition coach certification program.

Canyon Creek Farm is a premier equestrian facility servicing, Pembroke, Petawawa and the surrounding areas. Canyon Creek Farm aims to educate and develop young people starting in equestrian sport.

Through various programs such as Equine Canada level testing, clinics, lessons and shows, Canyon Creek Farm hopes to inspire the next generation of equestrians in the Ottawa Valley. In addition to a commitment to quality education, Canyon Creek Farm offers boarding to discerning horse owners.

Our primary focus is fair and ethical treatment of our animals, and delivering a safe and positive space for our staff and students. Canyon Creek Farm is distinctly committed to the education of our staff and students.

About Haley

Haley's passion for riding developed at a young age. It wasn't long after starting lessons at a local riding school that she purchased her first horse and began competing at schooling shows and fairs. As her competitive career flourished it was clear that horses were becoming a life long passion for her.

Understanding the importance of well rounded riding education, Haley has trained with several top trainers. While studying for her undergrad at the University of Ottawa, Haley continues to work and train with international dressage riders Simone Williams and Oswaldo Lazzuri (Queenswood Stables), where she refines her flat work in order to produce better results over fences. After relocating to Toronto, Haley spent several years working under the tutelage of international show jumpers such as Kim Farlinger, where she continued to augment her formal riding education and produce great results in the show ring.
