We encourage all riders to participate in the Rider Level Preparation days.

We follow Equestrian Canada Learn to Ride Program.

"The Learn to Ride program is designed to be guided by a Certified Instructor or Coach, to ensure that the concepts are clearly understood before the rider progresses to more challenging levels. The program provides an opportunity for riders to progress, demonstrating their skills through a series of increasingly complex written tests, interviews, and under-saddle jump and flat tests."

Camp starts at 5 years old and runs until 16 years.

Campers do not need to have any riding experience to attend.

Camp

Rider Level Preparation

At Canyon Creek Farm, we believe that every child of all abilities deserves the opportunity to discover, explore, and investigate the world in an encouraging, positive, thoughtfully planned, and structured environment.

During PA Day, March Break, and Summer Camps, we provide inclusive, hands-on experiences that support each child’s unique strengths, interests, and needs. Our Natural Nurturing Environment Teaching approach ensures that all children, including those with exceptionalities, feel welcomed, supported, and empowered to participate at their own pace.

Set on over 100 acres of picturesque land in the heart of the Ottawa Valley, with kilometres of trails, natural ponds, and our insulated 80x220 indoor sand arena, above ground pool, our camp offers endless opportunities for exploration, movement, creativity, and connection with nature.

Our goal at Canyon Creek Farm is to build confidence, foster meaningful friendships, and create a sense of belonging where every child can take pride in their achievements and experiences. We are committed to creating an inclusive camp community where differences are celebrated and every child feels valued.

Our team of qualified and experienced staff including Registered Early Childhood Educators, Registered Veterinary Technician, trained support staff, Certified lifeguard, Certified Equestrian Canada Instructors and Competition Coaches are dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for every child.
